About
Mohammad Faysal. Barishal, Bangladesh. This page is the short version — the long version is still being written.
I'm Faysal — a third-year MBBS student at Sher-E-Bangla Medical College, Barishal. Medicine is my discipline, but not my only one.
I write in Bengali — poetry mostly, and a novel I'm slowly building, about a young man named Moidul and the people he loses and finds across broken timelines. Writers like Jibanananda Das, Humayun Ahmed, and Dostoevsky shaped how I see a sentence.
Outside the hospital and the page, I build. Fay, Bangladesh is my long-term project — a set of ideas (learning, media, commerce, community) that I hope will one day include a hospital, a farm, a library, and a school in my hometown. For now, it starts smaller: helping other doctors and professionals build an honest, well-run online presence.
I support Liverpool FC, read more than I should admit to anyone, and believe most things worth doing take a long time.
“Medicine taught me how a heart beats.
Poetry taught me why.”
Self-assessment. Not peer-reviewed.
Taught me that quiet images can hold entire worlds.
Taught me that simple sentences can cut the deepest.
Taught me that people are never only one thing.
