Writing came into my life early. I write Bengali poetry, essays and reflections, and I am working on my first novel.

I am interested in people, memory, loneliness, love, time, philosophy, travel, and the strange ordinary things that make a life meaningful. Sometimes I write to understand something; sometimes I write because I cannot leave an idea alone.
